One canton, very different access
The canton of Lucerne varies a great deal over a small area. In the city, narrow old town lanes, period buildings without a lift and scarce parking set the pace. On Lake Lucerne, in Weggis, Vitznau and Meggen, it is narrow shore roads and long private driveways on steep ground.
In the Seetal and around Sursee the terrain is flatter and access is usually straightforward, but the properties lie further apart. In the Entlebuch and the Hinterland you add winding valley roads, scattered settlements and snow in winter.
Why this matters for your quote
These differences feed straight into the choice of vehicle, the size of the team and the schedule, and therefore into the price. A move with direct access and a lift is a different job from the same contents carried down four floors of a period staircase.

Does travel to remote municipalities cost more?
Travel time goes into the quote but is rarely the largest item. Access and volume usually weigh more heavily than distance.
