An office move is a scheduling problem
An office move is rarely about carrying. It is about every employee finding their workstation on Monday morning, the printer running and the files being where they belong. One day of standstill costs more than the whole move.
So we work with a numbering system: every workstation gets a number, every box and every piece of furniture is labelled to match, and at the destination a plan hangs with the same numbers on it. Whatever arrives goes straight to the right place.
What we take on for an office move
From a single team to a whole floor: we dismantle, transport and reassemble. For IT equipment we use padded containers; the work on the network and the servers themselves stays with your IT team or your provider.
Workstations
Desks, pedestals, chairs and partitions are taken apart, transported protected and put back up.
IT and equipment
Monitors, computers and peripherals travel padded and are set down again workstation by workstation.
Files and archive
Archives move in sequence so that the order is kept and nothing has to be re-sorted.
Safes and heavy items
For safes and heavy cabinets we use safe transport with the right set of rollers.
Phasing
Department by department over several weekends, where the business cannot stop entirely.
Cleaning
Book the office cleaning of the old premises for the handover in the same order.
Handing back the old premises
Business premises are inspected at handover too, and the requirements are rarely gentler than for flats. After the move out we take on the office cleaning, dispose of retired furniture through disposal and pass usable items on through the Brocki service.
If the location is being given up entirely, the larger frame applies: with a company relocation we plan the warehouse, workshop and archive along with it.

Frequently asked questions
Does the business have to close during the office move?
As a rule no. Most office moves run over a weekend or department by department across several weekends, so that work can continue throughout.
Do you handle the IT cabling as well?
We transport the equipment and set it down workstation by workstation. Network, servers and commissioning stay with your IT team or provider. We coordinate the schedule with them.
How are confidential files handled?
Files travel in closed containers and in their original order. On request we seal the containers and hand them over only to named individuals.
How early should we plan?
For a whole floor, ideally two to three months ahead. That sounds like a lot, but phasing, permits and IT coordination all need lead time.
