What counts on longer routes
On a long distance move the weight of the planning shifts: driving time becomes the governing factor, and everything has to be right first time. Driving back because something was forgotten is not an option.
So we work with one team that travels from the old address to the new one. No transfer on the way, no handover to third parties, no misunderstandings about what goes where.
One day, one sequence
A typical long distance move starts early: loading in the morning, driving over midday, unloading and assembly in the afternoon. For that to work, everything has to be packed the evening before. Which is why the packing service is particularly worthwhile on long distance moves.
If the dates do not line up we store in between: we load on the move out day, store short term and deliver as soon as the new home is free.

Price and planning
Over longer routes, driving time and vehicle size weigh more heavily than on a move within the municipality. All the more reason to sort things out beforehand: every cubic metre that does not travel lowers the price.
Whatever is not coming along we take with us, usable items through the Brocki service, the rest into disposal. If the route crosses the border, the international move applies instead.

Frequently asked questions
Do you really manage a long distance move in one day?
Within Switzerland, as a rule yes. With a very large volume or difficult access at both addresses we plan two days and say so beforehand.
Does the same team travel along?
Yes. Nothing is transferred and nothing is handed to partners. That reduces damage and misunderstandings.
What if the new home is not free yet?
Then we store in between. We load on the move out day, store in monitored premises and deliver as soon as you can take possession.
Is it worth sorting things out first?
On long distance moves especially. Volume is the biggest price factor. Whatever is going anyway we take with us, one appointment instead of two.
