What a government move adds
A move in the public sector follows different rules from a company relocation. The work is usually put out to tender, the process has to be documented so that it can be followed, and files are subject to retention and confidentiality rules that apply during transport as well.
We supply what is required: a quote that follows the tender, a written schedule, named responsible persons and a record of how the move actually went.
Files and confidentiality
Files move in their original order, in labelled and, on request, sealed containers. Who may receive them is settled beforehand and the handover is recorded. That keeps it fully traceable where a set of records was at any given time.
For safes and security cabinets we use safe transport, with a prior check of load capacity and access at both locations.
Public counters and schools
Offices with public counters and schools cannot simply close. So we put the work into off peak hours, weekends or the holidays and phase it so that operations carry on.
For school buildings the holidays work well: whole rooms, furniture and collections can be relocated in one go without disturbing lessons. The cleaning of the old rooms belongs to it on request.

Frequently asked questions
Do you bid on public tenders?
Yes. We put the quote together according to the tender documents and list the required items separately.
How do you ensure the confidentiality of files?
Files travel in closed and, on request, sealed containers and are handed over only to persons named in advance. Every handover is recorded.
Can you work outside opening hours?
Yes, and for government moves that is the normal case: evenings, weekends or during the school holidays.
Do we receive documentation?
Yes. A record of the process, of the file handovers and, where material was disposed of, the disposal certificates.
