How high is 25 metres?
A residential storey measures 2.8 to 3.2 metres depending on the construction. A reach of 25 metres therefore corresponds to roughly the seventh to eighth upper floor, which in the tower blocks of Emmen or the Tribschen quarter covers most of the flats.
What decides it is not only the height but the angle: the further the lift has to stand from the building, the less height it reaches. So we check the footing and the distance together.

Load capacity and single pieces
The lift does not only carry boxes. Heavy single pieces too, sofas, fridges, safes within certain weight classes, pianos, can be moved, provided the load capacity is sufficient.
For a piano or a grand piano above the second floor without a suitable house lift, the lift is usually the standard answer, not the exception.
What we settle beforehand
Footing, distance to the building, a clear line of sight upwards, the storey and the size of the opening, plus the permit if public ground is used. At heights above roughly 15 metres we prefer to come and look ourselves rather than only view photos.
That costs half an hour and prevents the discovery on the day that it cannot be done, a scenario that gets expensive, because the team and the vehicle are already on site.

Frequently asked questions
Is 25 metres enough for my floor?
Up to roughly the eighth upper floor, yes. Give us the storey and the address and we will check it specifically; the possible distance from the building plays into it.
How heavy may a single piece be?
That depends on the height and the angle. Give us the weight and the dimensions and we will say whether it works.
Do you come and look beforehand?
At heights above roughly 15 metres, yes, and we expressly recommend it. Below that, photos of the front of the building and the storey are usually enough.
What does the job cost?
The price depends on the duration, the height and the travel. Set up and operation are included. You receive a quote in advance.
