What collects in a cellar
Cellars fill up over the years: old furniture, leftover paint, bicycles, ski equipment, preserving jars, appliances somebody meant to repair one day. Much of it is bulky waste, some of it hazardous, and almost none of it fits in a car.
We empty the compartment completely, carry it up from the basement and separate as we load. You do not have to prepare anything or take anything to a collection point yourself.
What is handled separately
Cellars hold an above average share of material that does not belong in a bulky waste skip: paint and varnish residue, solvents, batteries, fluorescent tubes, pesticides and old electrical appliances.
Those go separately to the right take back point in each case. We know what belongs where and document it on request, see disposal.
For property managers and landlords
Property managers often instruct us when a compartment is left behind after a tenant moves out, or when communal cellar rooms have to be emptied. We then document the condition before and after and supply the disposal certificates.
If more than the cellar is involved, apartment clearance applies, or, with very full rooms, junk removal.

Frequently asked questions
What does a cellar clearance cost?
A normal cellar compartment sits at the lower end of our clearances. Volume, the share of hazardous waste and whether there is a lift decide it. You receive a fixed price in advance.
Do I have to pre-sort?
No. Just tell us what should be kept and we set that aside. We sort the rest as we clear.
Do you take paints and chemicals too?
Yes, as hazardous waste and separately from the rest. Where possible, put the containers together so that nothing is overlooked.
Do you clear garages and garden sheds as well?
Yes, and laundry rooms, attics and storerooms. The process is the same.
