When an apartment clearance becomes necessary
The occasions differ: entry into a care home, a death, emigration, a separation, or a flat that has to be handed back after years of use. What they have in common is that the date is usually fixed and cannot be moved.
We work to it. Tell us the handover date and we plan backwards, clearance, disposal, cleaning and inspection, so that enough slack is left at the end.
Sorting rather than throwing everything out
Before we clear, we sort. Whatever you or the family want to keep, we set aside. Simply tell us what to watch out for. Documents, photo albums, jewellery and keepsakes are handed over in person.
Furniture in good condition, crockery, books and clothes go on through the Brocki service. What is left is disposed of separately by metal, wood, electrical goods, bulky waste and hazardous waste.
Through to handing back the flat
A cleared flat is not yet ready for inspection. After the clearance we take on the final cleaning with a handover guarantee on request and attend the handover to the property management.
That puts the whole sequence in one pair of hands: one contact person, one schedule, one quote. It is worth most when relatives are organising the matter from a distance.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to be there during the clearance?
No. A short conversation beforehand makes sense, so that it is clear what should be set aside. The rest we can handle on our own and keep you updated with photos.
What happens to documents or valuables that turn up?
We set them aside and hand them over in person. Our staff are expressly instructed to dispose of nothing that might have value or meaning.
Do you clear furnished flats completely?
Yes, that is the normal case, including fittings, carpets and light fittings, where they are to go as well.
How quickly can you clear?
At normal workload within a few days to two weeks. If the handover date is pressing, say so with the enquiry and we will look at it as a priority.
