Why the price comes only after the survey
A clearance cannot be estimated seriously over the phone. Volume, type of material and access decide it, and all three only become visible on site. A full cellar with direct access is cheaper than a half full attic four floors up without a lift.
So we come round free of charge and then name a fixed price that includes removal and disposal. Additional charges arise only if the scope changes afterwards, and we discuss that beforehand.
Passing things on lowers the price
Disposal is billed by weight and by type of material. Everything still usable that can be passed on through our Brocki service drops out of that bill.
So we sort instead of throwing everything into the same skip. Furniture in good condition, crockery, books and working appliances are passed on. That makes more sense, and it is cheaper for you.

Frequently asked questions
What does a clearance in the canton of Lucerne cost?
Volume, access and type of material decide it. The more that can be passed on through the Brocki service, the lower the price. After a free survey you receive a fixed price.
How long does a clearance take?
A cellar compartment usually half a day, a three and a half room flat one to two days, a whole house correspondingly longer. We give the range after the survey.
Can personal items be set aside?
Yes, and it matters. Tell us beforehand what should be looked for and kept: documents, photographs, jewellery. We set it aside before anything is cleared.
Do I get proof of disposal?
On request, yes, in writing. Property managers and communities of heirs often require it.
