Why construction dust is a problem of its own
Fine dust from plaster, concrete and sanding behaves differently from ordinary household dust. It is extremely fine, settles into every crevice and spreads again after the first wipe. One pass with a cloth is therefore not enough.
We work in two passes: first the rough one, removing material and waste residue, then the fine one, surfaces, frames, radiators, sockets, runners and window rebates. Enough time sits between the passes for disturbed dust to settle.
What belongs to it
Besides the dust, building work leaves typical residues behind: paint spots on floors and window frames, adhesive from masking tape, silicone on the seals, labels on new sanitary fittings and protective film on appliances and windows.
Each of those calls for its own product and its own care: what is harmless on tiles will damage parquet or a coated surface. So we work material by material.
Construction waste and timing
Whatever is left over we take with us: packaging, offcuts, covering material. Paint residue, lamps and solvents belong in hazardous waste and are disposed of separately, see disposal. You receive the certificate on request.
The right moment is after the last tradesperson and before you move in or the furniture is delivered. If someone comes afterwards, part of the work was for nothing. So we are happy to agree the date directly with the site manager.

Frequently asked questions
When should the post construction cleaning happen?
After the last tradesperson and before you move in or the furniture arrives. On request we agree the date directly with the site manager.
Do you dispose of the construction waste too?
Packaging, offcuts and covering material, yes. Paints, solvents and lamps go separately into hazardous waste, with a certificate on request.
Do you remove paint spots from parquet?
Yes, with products suited to the material. On delicate surfaces we test first in an inconspicuous spot.
Is one pass enough?
With construction dust, practically never. We work in two passes with a wait in between, so that disturbed fine dust can settle.
