What move-out cleaning covers
A move-out clean is more than tidying up. It covers every place that gets checked at an inspection, including the ones nobody ever thinks about day to day.
Kitchen
Oven, extractor hood with filters, fridge inside and out, cupboard interiors, sink and taps.
Bathroom and WC
Shower, bath, basin, WC, taps and mirror cabinet, including limescale removal and silicone seals.
Floors and walls
All floor coverings wet cleaned, plus skirting boards, doors, door frames and light switches.
Windows and blinds
Glass on both sides, frames, rebates and blind slats, the most common reason for an objection.
Cupboards and fittings
Fitted cupboards inside and out, shelves, runners and handles.
Cellar and balcony
Cellar compartment, attic space and balcony, where they belong to the flat.
How the handover guarantee works
The guarantee is simple: if the property management objects to something that falls within our agreed scope of work, we come back and clean it again, at no extra cost and without argument.
For that to work, the scope has to be clear beforehand. So the quote states which rooms and which additional areas are included. A cellar compartment that was never mentioned does not fall under it. Better to tell us too much than too little.
Timing and sequence
The cleaning takes place once the flat is empty, and it should sit a little before the inspection. One or two days is enough. That leaves time in case something does come up.
If you book the move and the cleaning together, we plan both in one sequence: we move you, clean and attend the inspection on request. The disposal of whatever is not coming along runs in the same order.

What does a move-out cleaning in Lucerne cost?
The price depends on the floor area, the number of rooms and the condition, and on whether windows, blinds, cellar and balcony belong to it. You receive a fixed price in advance.
Are windows and blinds included?
In our standard quote, yes. That is exactly where inspections fail most often, so we do not bill them separately.
What if the property management objects anyway?
Then we come back and clean it again, free of charge, provided the point falls within the agreed scope. Just get in touch straight after the inspection.
Can you attend the inspection?
Yes, on request. It has proved its worth: open points can be settled on the spot instead of afterwards by phone.
